Our special guest speaker, Dr Kelly Page will be talking about ‘The Gendering of Digital Media Knowledge: Is it really all about Sex!’
The insights in this presentation are drawn from an ongoing research study about Digital Media Knowledge, Gender and Sex! In this study we are deepening our understanding of digital media knowledge and perceptions, and their complex interplay with the context within which digital media is used - digital design - as well as the users biological and socially constructured gendered identity.
In brief, we are exploring the gendering of digital media knowledge and ask is it really all about sex?
